Coronavirus Firebreak Update

In line with Welsh Government’s coronavirus firebreak measures announced yesterday, Bryngarw Country Park will remain open for the duration of the lockdown. However, to keep all staff, volunteers and visitors safe, we will be making some changes for this period.

As non-essential travel is not permitted, you should walk to Bryngarw Country Park for exercise only. Access to our car park will remain open for our visitors who have a specific health or mobility issue and are allowed to travel for exercise.
The children’s play area will also remain open, but you should only visit if you are within walking distance or have a specific health or mobility issue and can travel for exercise. You must not arrange to meet with other households in the play area or socialise there.
Picnics or any other outdoor social gathering will not be allowed. The café in the visitor centre will be closed from Saturday 24th October and will reopen on Monday 9th November.
Our public toilets will remain open. Please remember to follow the guidelines around social distancing when using these facilities. Face coverings are mandatory in all indoor public spaces, which includes our visitor centre.
If you have bought a ticket for the half-term events which will now be cancelled, we will be in touch as soon as possible.
Thank you for your continued support.
