Bryngarw Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update

On the 16th of March, the UK Government announced a social distancing policy, however, they did not announce the closure of public places.

In fact, individuals are encouraged to take some physical exercise, which could include a walk in the park, at a safe distance from others and if they are well enough to do so. We are however rearranging this weekend’s Birdsong Walk.

We are working hard to protect the spread of COVID-19 amongst our staff and visitors at Bryngarw Country Park. Bryngarw Country Park and its facilities (car park, visitor centre and toilets) are currently open as usual and we encourage visitors to continue to follow the guidance with regards hand washing.

Together with Bridgend County Borough Council, we are assessing the latest official guidance and continue to seek clarity and guidance from the UK Government and Welsh Government as to the next steps.
Please continue to keep an eye on our website and social media channels for the latest information.
